Engaged for the protection of many indigenous people around the World
For more than fourty-five years, the photographer, indigenist filmmaker and writer Jean-Pierre Dutilleux has dedicated his life for the safeguarding of the Indians of Amazonia. With his friends, he created "Virgin Forest" and "Rainforest" Foundations in twelve countries and organised several Raoni international tours.
While raising awareness about the importance of saving the Indian people, he has directed 40 films and published 8 books, regularly exhibits his photographs in the United States and Europe, and continues to lecture around the world.
